| Punjab Medical Institute of Nursing and Hospital was established in the year 1987 & was recognized in 1989 & is in about 2 Acres of Land.. This Institute had struggled a lot in earning a good name in the state of Punjab & in rest of India, and even aboard by working Day and Night in teaching the students, to get 100 % results in all the courses under the dynamic administration of Dr. (Capt) G. B. S. Madan, Director / Chairman and Capt. Mrs. Puneet Madan, Nursing Director of this Institute.
We are having students from all over India for Multi purpose Health worker (female) and General Nursing & Midwifery. This Institute has earned a name in the field of sports and extra curricular activities like Gidha, Bhangra and in folk dances. This Institute won many prizes at the National level. We have also participated in the Independence Day when Late S. Beant Singh was the Chief Minister showing the theme of Family Planning. Punjab Medical Institute of Nursing is duly Recognized/ Affiliated with Punjab Nurses Registration Council, Chandigarh and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The main Aim of the Institute is to educate the entire Girl student to serve the humanity to achieve the goal “HEALTH FOR ALL”. Punjab Medical Institute of Nursing is being run by the dynamic & efficient expertise of the Indian Army and the training is imparted like the Army Style. The trained teaching staff headed by the Nursing Director Capt (Mrs.) P. Madan, Principal’s & other BSc. Nursing Staff. This institute is being soon upgraded and will be starting Bsc. Nursing. To all our students the Practical Training is given in the Civil Hospital - Jalandhar, Midwifery Training is given in General Hospital – Chandigarh, Psychiatric training is given in Psychiatric Hospital - Amritsar & Institute of Human Behavior & Allied Sciences – New Delhi. Community & Field training is given at Kartarpur . Clinical training is also given in other big Hospitals of Jalandhar. This will be the one of the biggest Private Hospital under the administration of Dr. Manmeet Madan, Medical Suptd. And Dr. Harbir Singh Madan, Dy. Medical Suptd. Having 150 indoor bed strength with facilities of fully equipped Operation Theatres for Obst. & Gynae., Surgery, General Surgery, E.N.T. surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology Surgery, Cardiac Monitoring, OPD for all the specialties. This Hospital is in service on the main G.T. Road Highway (Suranussi) towards Amritsar. We welcome all the new students, in having their interest in our Institute. |
